Waterproof Key Lock Switch Is Mains Rated

Lorlin Electronics has announced the WRLM miniature key operated lock switch which is waterproof to IP67 and the switch module is safety approved to EN61058 by DEMKO and is flame retardant to UL94 V0. The WRLM is a two-part construction for ease of assembly, the lock is inserted into the panel from the front and the mains switch module snaps on from the rear.
Made in the UK by Lorlin this new miniature key operated lock switch has a zinc alloy bright chrome plated lock housing and up to 200 possible key combinations with options of keys to differ and keys to pass. The barrel diameter is just 16mm and the switch may be fitted to panels of up to 4.5mm thickness. Connection via solder terminals is standard and PCB mounting is available as an option as is an additional M16 earth tag. The double pole switch has contacts made from silver cadmium oxide, is rated at 4 to 80A @ 250VAC and may be specified with normally open or normally closed contacts. Typical life expectancy is >10,000 cycles over an operating temperature range of -25ºC to +85 ºC.
