The high-power resistors are manufactured using a wire-wound design to maximise the high pulse capability. They are also optimised for stability, linearity and reliability, making them suitable for applications including: snubber; inverter/converter; balancing resistor; braking resistor; and inrush limiter.
Many terminal options are offered, exceeding those found on similar resistors on the market – no less than seven different terminations are available. The HS resistor family is manufactured in line with the requirements of MIL 18546 and IEC 115.
The power resistors are RoHS compliant and are designed for ease-of-assembly. Ohmic resistance values vary from R005 to 100K depending on wattage and the tolerances values for low Ω values are typically ≥ R05 ±5% ≤ R047 ±10%. The temperature coefficients are typically < 1K 100ppm Std. > 1K 25ppm as standard.
