With their high power capabilities and high dielectric strength of 12 kVRMS, the devices released today are intended for power supply, inverter, converter, snubber, and discharge resistor applications in windmills, trains, scanner and X-ray tables, and large UPS drives.
Thermal resistance for the LPSxxx resistors at rated power and + 85 °C is 0.112 °C/W junction-to-case. The devices feature a standard temperature coefficient of ± 150 ppm/°C for values above 10 Ω and tolerances from ± 1 % to ± 10 %. The RoHS-compliant resistors offer high-temperature performance from − 55 °C to + 120 °C (LPS300), + 155 °C (LPS600), and + 175 °C (LPS800).
