The T.C.R. of ±100ppm/K is specified for resistance values higher than 11mΩ.The UR73V-series covers the resistance range from 10 to 100mΩ and is available in 1206″ size. Resistors in the range 30 to 100mΩ are designed for standard mounting whilst values in the range 10 to 27mΩ use a facedown construction.
Thick film resistors are designed for current detection
KOA’s UR73-series thick film shunts are designed for current detection, especially in demanding environments. The special facedown construction makes lower resistance values with a low T.C.R. possible. Compared to KOA’s existing UR73-series the new UR73V-series has an even better T.C.R. and its wide operating temperature range of -55 to +155°C makes it suitable for applications such as automotive or hi-rel DC/DC converters.
