Bourns has increased its Riedon high-power thick-film resistors with four new product series. The PSD220S, PSD227, PSD126, and PSD220T-50 series resistors are available in TO-126, TO-220, TO-227, and SMD DPAK packages. They feature power ratings from 25 to 200W, low inductance and excellent pulse handling capabilities that enable enhanced circuit stability and measurement accuracy.
The four new resistor series are designed to match market demands for greater power dissipation and higher reliability. Meeting these demands, they deliver a wide resistance value range from 20 milliohms to 100 kilohms and have temperature coefficients of resistance (TCRs) ranging from ±50 to ±600ppm/°C. These features, along with their rugged construction and reliable thermal performance, make the four PSD series resistors ideally suited for demanding designs such as power supplies, motor drives, test and measurement equipment, rectifiers, capacitor discharging applications, and snubber circuits. Additionally, each series can be custom-tailored to meet application-specific requirements.
