Melding compact size with high performance characteristics, Kudom’s KSD series solid state relays (SSRs) is available from specialist distributor Switchtec. The relays provide fast, reliable switching in a wide variety of applications across a broad range of industries. The KSD series is available in three ratings, 3A, 5A and the KSDF version with its integrated heat sink that can switch loads up to 25A.

All versions can handle load voltages of 48-280VAC or 48-530VAC as applicable. Multiple input/control voltage versions are available, namely 3-15VDC, 15-32VDC, and the popular 3-32VDC, with the KSDF version also being able to accept AC voltage input ranges of 18-36VAC and 90-140VAC.

The KSD relays are PCB mounting and feature high EMC and high inrush current capability. And exhibiting versatility, the relays are operable in an ambient range of -30 to +80 degrees C.

The SSRs are available in a choice of two finishes, standard black encapsulated and the popular epoxy coated versions that feature a distinctive burgundy red colour.

Suitable for use in a wide range of applications including motor control, lighting, ATM, vending, medical, elevators, lifts, auto door and general industrial, the Kudom KSD series of SSRs will find favour with OEMs, CEMs, panel builders, equipment manufacturers, and PCB manufacturers/builders and indeed any user or manufacturer whose requirement is for a robust, compact, high-performing relay. The KSD SSRs from Switchtec are approved to CE, TUV, and UL (pending).
