Coilcraft today introduce a new series of low-profile power inductors. Meeting NASA specifications for low outgassing, the new AE425PJB Series is just 1.8mm high with a footprint of 3.9mm square. Featuring a special suspended core construction, the AE425PJB is able to withstand vibration to 80G and shock to 1000G.

Therefore, it is particularly suited for a variety of mission-critical military, aerospace and handheld medical device applications.

Utlising high-temperature materials, the AE425PJB can be used for operation in ambient temperatures up to 155°C. With tin-lead (Sn-Pb) termination, it also allows for the best possible board adhesion.

Available in 30 inductance values from 0.35uH to 3300uH, the AE425PJB can be configured with current ratings to 6.3 Amps and DCR as low as 0.030 Ohms.

In addition to the AE425PJB, Coilcraft offers PJB family power inductors in eleven other sizes with inductance values to 10000uH.

Standard versions of the AE425PJB are available direct from stock with custom modifications welcomed.
