Suitable for rugged environments, the Euro Series resistors have an “all-welded” construction using spot welding techniques, for stronger mechanical and electrical connections.
The tough, lead-free, flame-resistant vitreous enamel coating has been specifically developed for demanding applications and provides protection against both moisture and mechanical damage. Euro Series resistors are equipped with European Lug terminals suitable for soldering or sturdy bolt connection, and are available in common European sizes.
The radial lugs are solder-coated with RoHS composition solder.
The Euro Series of high wattage tubular resistors are excellent for continuous loads and they also feature a high overload rating – 10 times the rated wattage for 5 seconds. The lower wattage resistors in the range and the corrugated wire types all have excellent energy characteristics.
