Piezo switches designed for demanding applications

Targeting a wide variety of demanding applications, Bulgin has announced a line of IP68 and IP69K rated piezo switches. The high-end, vandal-proof switches have no moving mechanical parts, meaning that they can withstand millions of actuations. This makes them extremely resilient, offering long-life operation even in harsh environments.

Operating over a wide temperature range from -40 to +85°C, the piezo switches have a robust one piece construction which ensures resistance to physical impact, and environmental sealing which guarantees weather and waterproof operation.

Constructed in either aluminium or stainless steel, the vandal-proof piezo switches are available with ratings up to 24V and 1A, with 16, 19 and 22mm hole diameters and multiple illumination options.

“Bulgin’s high-end piezo switches have been carefully designed to withstand the most arduous uses, including heavy industry, electronics, public transport, military and defence, marine and food processing. We look forward to using this recently released product range to help meet the demands of our customers’ challenging applications.”
