Panasonic introduces world’s smallest top-operating switch
Panasonic Automotive & Industrial Systems has introduced a new miniature top-operating switch, measuring just 2.6mm x 1.6mm x 0.53mm, making it the smallest switch of its type available.Using Panasonic´s innovative laser welding technology, EVPBB series switches provide sharp tactile feedback; devices are also exceptionally tough and feature an IP67 rating.
Available with a stroke of 0.13mm and equipped with an actuator (push plate), EVPBB series switches are guaranteed for 300,000 operations. The actuator is protected under a covering film which also spreads the operating force, contributing to long life.
These tiny switches are ideally to slim applications including hearing aids, smart mobile products, smart watches and other wearables, healthcare products and sealed/ waterproof devices
