The devices, which offer high serial resonant and parallel resonant frequency, are based on a stable ceramic dielectric. Providing a working voltage range of 200-7200V and a capacitance range of 0.1-5100pF in the quad 0505, 1111, 2525, and 3838 case sizes, the MLCCs are manufactured in noble metal electrode technology with a wet build process. Operating across a 55 to +125 °C temperature range, the devices offer an aging rate of 0% per decade.
Improved solder fillet characteristics for reflow soldering assembly are provided by the non-magnetic copper terminations. The halogen free MLCCs are also offered with RoHS-compliant nickel barrier terminations with 100% matte tin plate for reflow assembly (code “X”), and a lead-bearing (minimum 4%) termination finish (code “L”).
The devices, which are suitable for critical applications such as UHF and microwave RF power amplifiers, filter and impedance matching networks, timing circuits, mixers and oscillators, provide a reliable performance.
