New from RF and microwave component specialist Link Microtek are three series of miniature electromechanical RF switches that have been designed for use in 1-slot VXIbus modules and other applications where space is restricted.
Manufactured by Narda Microwave, the switches are available in a choice of five frequency bands from DC to 26.5GHz and can be specified in dual SPDT (Series 156), multi-throw (Series
036-066) or transfer switch (Series 136) configurations.

All types feature SMA connectors and have base dimensions of just 30.2 x 27.8mm, enabling up to six switches to be accommodated in the front panel of a single-slot VXIbus module.

The switches offer excellent RF performance, and Narda’s actuator design gives them exceptional long-term reliability, guaranteeing a minimum of 1 million operations with no noticeable degradation in performance.

Suitable for use in ambient temperatures ranging from –35 to +70 degC, the switches are designed to meet the requirements of MIL-S-3928 and are fully compatible with both military and commercial logic ICs.
