Capable of switching 10A loads at 250VAC this very compact switch may be used in security applications such as limiting access to air-conditioning systems at rented properties and hotels, switching of solenoid valves in industrial process control applications, security door entry systems, burglar and fire alarm systems and mains isolation during maintenance of electrical equipment.
The SRL-10 miniature key operated lock is manufactured in the UK has up to 200 different key combinations and a 5 disc lock movement operating over 60º Steps. It is also available with common keys to allow access by authorised users to a number of different locks. Each lock is supplied with two keys and additional keys can be supplied on request. The two-part construction makes for ease of assembly, the lock barrel is first mounted through the front of the panel and the switch module is then snapped on from the rear. Standard connection is solder terminals and printed circuit solder tags are available as an option.

The switch module approved to EN61058 by DEMKO, is flame retardant to UL94 V0 and is rated at 10A @ 250Vac (resistive). Operating life is greater than 10,000 Cycles over a temperature range of -25ºC to +85 ºC. The switch contacts are silver cadmium oxide, solder tags are silver plated brass CZ108 and the lock housing is zinc alloy, bright chrome plated with a tapered head.
