Littelfuse, the US industrial technology group, has unveiled a new compact solid-state relay designed to meet growing demand for fast, low-power, and space-saving switching solutions across a range of industries.

The CPC1056N, a 60-volt, 75 mA 1-Form-A relay, offers silent operation with no moving parts, high input-to-output isolation of 1500 VRMS, and a switching speed of 3 milliseconds. The device requires an ultra-low LED trigger current of 0.5 mA, enabling direct drive from TTL or CMOS logic without additional circuitry.

Housed in a four-pin SOP package, the relay is aimed at applications where size, energy efficiency, and reliability are critical, including security systems, medical equipment, industrial automation, smart meters, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. It complies with EN50130-4, UL 1577, and EN 62368-1 safety and electromagnetic standards.

Hugo Guzman, Product Marketing Manager at Littelfuse, said the CPC1056N would allow engineers to “simplify their designs without compromising performance” while supporting energy-sensitive and space-constrained applications. He added that the relay could help accelerate time to market for products ranging from smart appliances to factory automation systems.

The CPC1056N expands Littelfuse’s solid-state relay portfolio, complementing existing optically isolated and power relays. It is available in sample quantities of 100 per tube or 2,000 per reel through authorised distributors worldwide.

Littelfuse, listed on Nasdaq, operates in more than 20 countries and employs around 16,000 staff, supplying products across industrial, transportation, and electronics sectors.
