Engineers face challenges when designing electronics that require a high voltage axial leaded resistor because of limited options and high cost. Stackpole's HVA series axial leaded high voltage resistors provide high voltage handling in a cost effective, compact thru-hole package.

The RoHS compliant and halogen free HVA offers resistance values from 1M up to 1G in tolerances as low as one percent and in 200ppm TCR.

The high voltage film achieves VCR of 20ppm/V or better. Voltage and power ratings offered are as follows:

  • HVA05: 0.5W, 6x2.5mm D size, 3,500V working volts.
  • HVA08: 0.8W, 8.5x3mm D size, 7,000V working volts.
  • HVA12: 1.2W, 11x4mm D size, 8,000V working volts.

Pricing for the HVA varies with size, value, and tolerance and ranges from $0.09 to $0.25 each in full package quantities.
