TTI, Inc has announced the availability of a new family of SAW resonators from Murata to support Short Range Devices operating in the ISM300 and ISM400 bands. New technology developed by Murata has enabled further performance improvements in all three of the SARCC***M**K(T)X*0 resonator’s main parameters: thermal coefficient has been reduced by almost 50%; resonant loss has improved by approximately 1dB; and the standard initial tolerance is now ±50kHz compared to the previous ±75kHz.
These new SA resonators will support the latest ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) standard concerning frequency error - other competitive solutions do not yet comply to the standard. Two temperature ranges are available: KX-suffixed devices are targetted at the consumer market while TX product are automotive grade SAWs suitable for TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System). Devices with a stability of ±50ppm are optionally available.

The new resonator family covers all commonly requested frequencies. Devices are available in the standard 3.0x3.0mm 6 pin ceramic package.
