CSRF0508 size termination current sense chip resistor
Applications requiring power control and monitoring are becoming more demanding. High power sensing with low TCR and low thermal resistance are important when power electronics have size constraints.
Foil on ceramic technology and wide terminations are popular solutions to these requirements. Stackpole’s CSRF0508 current sense chip resistor offers a power rating of up to one watt and resistance values from five to 62 milliohm.
TCR for these values is 50 or 100ppm depending on resistance value and available tolerances are one and five percent. Applications include a wide range of power supply types, motor controls, industrial controls, voltage regulators, and LED drivers.
Pricing varies with tolerance, and resistance and ranges from $0.275 to $0.35.
