The new WH/WN/WL series miniature moulded axial leaded wirewound resistors from Ohmite uses the high purity (96% Alumina) ceramic cores with wire winding which are spot welded by CNC machine tools to ensure total operational consistency throughout.

The resistors are also encapsulated with epoxy molding compound using advanced IC encapsulation mould/die technologies.

The WH and WN models possess an ultra-high ohmic value and Ayrton Perry non-inductive windings are available. Both meet the stringent requirements of MIL-R-26F and MIL-STD-202.

The WL version has ultra-low ohmic values for current sensing applications. All versions are miniaturised for better power to dimension ratios and all have very low inductance of
Available in 0.5, 1, and 2 watt sizes ranging from 5.08 to 11.4mm in length and 2.54 to 6.86mm diameters, the components offer resistance values from 0.01 to 8.0Kohm which makes them ideally suited for use in precision applications. The WH/WN/WL series is available in a variety of stock, standard values, all at 1% tolerance and are RoHS compliant with 100% Sn (lead free) coated terminals.
