Chip resistor series features high temperature capability

The CSSH Series ultra high precision current sense chip resistor series from Stackpole has recently been expanded to include a 0.3mΩ value in the 2512 size. The CSSH2512 0.3mΩ part is available in tolerances as low as one percent and TCR is 150ppm, with a 3W power rating.

This low resistance value coupled with the electrical stability and high temperature capability of up to 275°C operating range allow the use of the CSSH2512 for high power electronics for steady state currents of up to 77A.

Applications include laptops, portable test equipment, bar code scanners, medical monitoring and diagnostic equipment, communications equipment such as WAN / LAN / and RF networking, energy monitoring, metering equipment, electric power tools, sensors and sensing / detection equipment, DC to DC converters, voltage regulators, motor controls, motion controls, and instrumentation.

Pricing for the CSSH depends on tolerance and ranges from $0.275 to $0.375 each in full package quantities.
