Recently expanded to create a broader range of options for design engineers, the 3650 series of chip inductors from Tyco Electronics offers a wide range of inductance values from 1.0nH up to 4.7mH, as required by ever more demanding high frequency applications. The wide value range makes the devices an ideal choice for filtering and signal conditioning in cellular phones, global positioning systems (GPS), digital TV tuners, cordless telephones, W-LAN and Bluetooth applications, just to name a few.
Available in four package sizes (0402, 0603, 0805 and 1008) and designed for automatic placement, 3650 series chip inductors feature a wire wound construction and standard tolerances of 2, 5 and 10 percent. A high self resonant frequency realizes a high Q factor and stable inductance at high frequencies. Smooth casings of the devices facilitate accurate placement. A low-DC-resistance design of the devices provides low loss, high output and low power consumption. The components are designed for an operating temperature range from -40 up to +125 degC.

The 3650 series chip inductors are fully RoHS compliant and are available in quantities of either 1000 or 5000 piece reels. Laboratory design kits are also available.
