IPP has leveraged softboard laminate technology and embedded internal terminations in order to offer the IPP-8036 in a surface mount package, instead of aluminum housing with connectors, which saves system size and cost by bringing the coupler inside the power amplifier.
The device also features an innovative broadband design that provides separate coupled ports for both forward and reflected signals.
According to Innovative Power Products, additional key features of the IPP-8036 include Insertion loss at < 0.29 dB, main line VSWR at 1.25:1, 50dB coupling.
The devices comes in a 1.5 x 1.0-inch surface mount (SMD) package.
