Measuring just 20x20mm, the EyeSens ZQ vision sensor is claimed by manufacturer Eye Vision Technology to be one of the smallest intelligent cameras available. The camera's real time evaluation makes it very fast. The powerful ZYNQ processor with DualCore ARM the vision sensor can carry out applications much faster than the ordinary EyeSens vision sensor.

The compact housing, which is only slightly bigger than the sensor it contains, has the FPGA ZYNQ processor hardware and EyeVision software, ensuring extremely fast image processing. With the EyeVision software platform, the camera can be programmed with the GUI's drag-and-drop function, eliminating the need for programming skills.

The vision sensor is suitable for applications such as DMC code reading, QR code reading, OCR/ OCV reading and verification, pattern matching and measurement technology. Because of its small size and light weight, the camera is also suited for solutions where the camera is mounted to a robot arm.

The EyeSens ZQ can easily be integrated to plants where there is little space, partly because the lighting is already included.
