Available in motorised and manual versions – the Model 200 3x non-Browning zoom lens from Resolve Optics has been engineered specifically for use in the nuclear industry.

Operating at f /2.8 this space efficient zoom lens provides high image resolution, a close focus and minimum geometric distortion from 400-750nm. Special cerium doped glass is used in Model 200 zoom lenses to avoid browning or discolouration when exposed to radiation. Using a Model 200 lens, nuclear engineers can image objects from 50mm to infinity without using add-on adapters. When focused at infinity, the lens achieves high image resolution at full aperture throughout the zoom range without refocusing.

The lens is designed for use with Newvicon and Chalnicon tubes as well as CMOS cameras. Weighing just 290 grams, and offering precision motorised control of zoom, iris and focus functions, the Model 200-001 3x non-Browning zoom lens is perfect for remote imaging applications in higher radiation areas.

Drawing upon approaching 30 years’ experience, Resolve Optics has built a strong international reputation for specialist lens design and manufacture of smaller production quantities of radiation-resistant (non-browning) lenses and optical products on time to strict quality and target price guidelines.
