A text and pattern laser, which allows projections to be controlled by a keyboard and an IR remote control, has been released by Laserworld. The EL-200G KeyTEX is a green colour laser projector offered with a live text feature and laser countdown. The device can be operated in normal stand-alone mode or sound to light, where it plays preset patterns and animations.

The text mode offers the possibilities to either type text live and animate it, or save text to cue keys so they can be played back later, which is done using the keyboard or the IR remote control. The EL-200G KeyTEX laser is suitable for advertising purposes on a smaller scale.
The text and pattern laser features built-in graphics capable scanners that operate at a speed of ca. 30kpps at 4°. The whole projection is multiplied through a diffraction grating, which has a deflection angle of ca. 90°.

The green DPSS 532nm laser source is very bright and has a typical power of 200mW.
