AP Technologies are pleased to announce the international release of the newest version of Opto Diode Corporation’s “Metal Reflector Array” (MRA) technology, now using the latest 1mm power chips.
MRA products combine extremely low thermal resistance packaging (0.8°C/Watt Junction-To-Case) with high optical efficiency beam-shaping reflector cavities, providing the best possible environment for extracting the maximum output per chip and achieving high radiant intensity without using external lensing.

The new 30-chip OD-850-30-030 has a peak wavelength of 850nm (typical) and emits a 16 Watts total power at 6A DC with a beam angle of just 30° FWHM.

The OD-850-30-030 is ideally suited to night vision, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) and skin therapy applications and offers system designers a compact footprint and low profile solution.

The new “030” will be offered in a range of standard wavelengths and is also ideally suited to custom single, dual and triple wavelength configurations—so please contact AP Technologies to discuss your application.
