Slim 60W constant voltage LED driver increases product offering

UK power conversion specialist PowerPax has recently extended its LED Driver offering with the addition of an Ultra Slim 60W constant voltage series. The range features an input voltage range of 200–240V AC, 50Hz with a power factor ≥ 0.9 and an output power rating of 0-60W (SELV). Outputs are available as either 12VDC or 24VDC and all include open circuit, short circuit, overload and over-temperature protection.

These drivers work over a wide temperature range with full operation at Ambient Temperatures (Ta) up to 45°C and a maximum Case Temperature (Tc) of 80°C.

This series is safety approved to EN61347-1, EN61347-2-13 and feature EMI to EN55015, EMS to EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3 & EN61547, EMF to EN62493-2010 and ERP to EN1194-2012.

These drivers are housed in a 251x30x16mm polycarbonate case with screw terminals for both the input and output connections. They are double insulated with SELV outputs and are TUV and CE approved.

The slim nature of these drivers makes them particularly suitable for applications where the driver needs to be inserted through a small aperture, such as the hole where a ceiling rose was previously fitted or in a coffer where the width is limited. In addition these drivers are also suited to standard applications and they form part of the comprehensive range of LED drivers stocked by PowerPax.
