Sealed indication components for harsh environments

Delivering up to NEMA 13 protection, these specialty indicator and illumination products are designed for use across a broad range of safety, outdoor, medical, mining, military, aircraft, industrial machinery, and instrumentation applications.

VCC offers three ruggedized panel mount watertight indicator series, the CNX 482 Series, CNX 722 Series, and 5139 Series. Resistant to shock and vibration, the ROHS-compliant CNX 482 and CNX 722 Series feature built-in LEDs and are viewable in both direct sunlight and at wide angles. With operating temperatures from -40ºC to +176ºC, both the CNX Series' are available with red, green, white, blue, or yellow LEDs. The CNX 482 Series features ESD and NEMA 4 protection, and a low profile lens for anti-vandalism protection; while the unique features of the CNX 722 Series include fast pitch threads for fast, easy installation, optional cosmetic bezels, NEMA 6 protection, and three termination options: screw block, quick disconnect terminals, or wire leads. The watertight 5139 Series T-1 ¾ midget flange relampable indicators conform to MIL-L-3661.

VCC currently offers four series of oil-tight harsh environment bushing-mount indicators: the 75 Series, L75 Series, 6000M Series, and 6000QM Series. All four series accommodate 3/8” mounting holes. Featuring a black nylon threaded housing with dome lens and either two 6” 18AWG wire leads or 3/16” tab terminals, the 75 and L75 Series indicators are available with LED, neon, or incandescent lamps and a wide variety of lens colours - including amber, blue, green, red, yellow, white, and clear. Voltage options for the 75 and L75 Series span 2-250V. Featuring a built-in current-limiting resistor and rectifier diode, the 6000M and 6000QM Series solid-state, oil-tight, non-relampable indicators are available with neon or LED lamps. The neon lamps in both series are available in red, amber, and green and rated for 105-125 or 208-250VAC; while the LED lamps are available in red, green, and yellow and rated for 12 or 24V. 6000M Series indicators feature 22AWG wire leads and a white nylon housing; while the 6000QM Series feature quick-connect terminals, a black nylon housing, and NEMA 13 protection.

VCC offers three rigid and two flexible panel mount moisture-sealed light pipe series. Accommodating panel thicknesses of 0.80 - 1.39 mm, the three rigid sealed light pipe series (the LSS Series, LMS Series, and LCS Series) are available with amber, blue, green, red, yellow, or clear lenses and with custom lengths upon request. Available in lengths spanning 0.24-1.24”, the 3mm LSS Series is RoHS compliant. With NEMA 4 protection, the 5mm LMS Series is available in lengths spanning 0.33-1.33”, as well as with a white lens. The threaded 5mm LCS Series features NEMA 6 protection and is available in lengths spanning 0.32-1.32”. Available with SMD 22, THR 22, or THR 5 22 mounting options, the two flexible sealed light pipes (the FLX 442 Series and FLX 322 Series) feature six lens colour options: amber, blue, green, red, yellow, and clear; and lengths spanning 2-12”. The FLX 442 Series light pipes feature standard Fresnel lenses and NEMA 6 protection; while the FLX 322 Series feature low profile Fresnel lenses and NEMA 4 protection and are also available with translucent white lenses.
