The MICROmote sensors are suitable for applications where installation space and weight is limited, such as on moving machine parts and robot grippers. Operated with a separate amplifier which can be positioned outside of the action area, the sensors are integrated in metal housing. Secure transmission of the signals between the sensor head and the amplifier is provided by highly flexible electrical cables. The MICROmote sensors, whose amplifier features ergonomic indicators and operating elements, are a technical alternative to fibre optics.
Allowing users to find the most suitable solution quickly and cost-effectively, the sensors have a sophisticated modular system. The MICROmote sensors can be used for position detection of small parts, identification and counting of objects and detecting the filling levels of foaming liquids. The MICROmote series includes diffuse sensors, through-beam sensors, high-vacuum sensors, fork sensors and precision hose sensors.
