The all-new housing design is extremely compact and robust and uses a newly developed sensor positioning design to provide consistently precise sensor alignment. The addition of the LM-Mount allows integrators to use high-quality Leica-M and Zeiss ZM lenses with this camera, in addition to F-mount, M72, M58 and M42 lens mount choices.
Low noise electronic design and tuned PRNU correction algorithms achieve an unprecedented linearity deviation of under 1%. Special attention has also been paid to thermal management to minimize the effects of temperature oscillation on image consistency. User definable ROI (H&V), exposure delay and strobe output delay round out the major features of this high-performance camera. The color version, IC-C25S-CXP, is scheduled for release in Q2.
“The new IC-M25S-CXP compliments the release last year of our new IC-M12S-CXP 12MP camera, which shares the same CoaXPress hardware platform. These cameras showcase ISVI’s expertise in the design and manufacturing of high-end CMOS cameras with the CoaXPress interface”, says Gerard White, Vice President of ISVI Corp. “This new camera platform represents ISVI’s more than 5 years of high-resolution CoaXPress camera development experience. Leading image performance coupled with aggressive pricing put the IC-M25S-CXP at the front of the price/performance spectrum.”
