One of the easiest ways to elevate the look and efficiency of a space is through a lighting renovation, a job that can be completed in mere minutes with the latest LED Lensed Retrofit Kit by MaxLite. The LRK installs into existing troffers without the need to enter the ceiling space, giving facility managers the quickest, most cost-effective means of replacing outdated fluorescent lighting systems with the high efficiency and performance of LEDs. With a profile measuring less than 3", the LRK is designed to fit standard 2x2 and 2x4ft troffers with ease. In most cases, installation of the LRK takes less than 10 minutes.

The LED kit consumes 40% less energy and lasts far longer than the fluorescent lighting it replaces, with an industry-leading lifetime of 100,000 hours at L70 standards. The kit has a sleek, contemporary appearance designed to enhance office, retail, healthcare, education and hospitality interiors. With its clean look and high efficiency, the kit is a suitable replacement solution for businesses faced with replacing obsolete T12 fluorescent tubes.

Offered in 25 and 35W outputs, the LRK is engineered with edge-lit technology that distributes light with perfect uniformity and excellent colour rendering. The kit is available in 3,500, 4,100 and 5,000K colour temperatures to suit a variety of tasks and preferences. Custom colour temperatures are available upon request. The kit works with standard 0-10V dimming controls for maximum energy savings.

“Most troffer retrofit kits on the market are direct lit,” noted Ramesh Raghavan, Product Manager. “Our Lensed Retrofit Kit offers the higher efficacy and performance of edge-lit illumination in an attractive package that is simple to install. The deep energy savings and visual appeal offered by the LRK make converting to LED a win-win proposition for any business.”
