Handling drive currents of up to 70mA due to incorporating larger chips, the VLM.334.. series is an advanced modification of Vishay's VLM.31.. series of LEDs. Due to handling higher current drives, the VLM.334.. series produces improved luminous intensity.

Utilizing the latest advanced AllnGaP technology, the VLM.334.. series devices provide exceptional brightness with a typical luminous intensity of 3760 mcd and maximum luminous intensity of 6052 at 70mA while delivering improved thermal performance compared to previous-generation LEDs. At 300K/W, junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is 25% lower than the former VLM.333 product.

Offered in super red, red, amber, and yellow, the AEC-Q101-qualified VLM.334.. LEDs are suitable for a range of applications, including traffic signals and signs, interior and exterior lighting, automotive dashboard illumination, indicators and controls for audio and video equipment, LCD switches and symbols, illuminated advertising, and many other uses.

The VLM.334.. series LEDs are available for sampling, with lead times of six weeks for larger orders.
