A series of LEDs that can be controlled by the user has been introduced by EVT. The BrainLight LEDs allow users to create and save individual lighting patterns, which can be easily adjusted.

The BrainLight series is comprised of the BrainLight QC, a backlight, and BrainLight R, a ring light. The back light has separately controllable rows of LEDs, which are available in red, green, blue and white. To allow the light to disperse evenly, the device features a diffuser glass. The BrainLight QC, which measures 30x40mm, contains 48 LEDs. If necessary, LEDs can be added.

The ring light has a RS232 or TTL UART interface and a +5V or 12-24V input voltage. The device is separated into eight segments of three LEDs, which can be controlled separately.
