An inspection system, designed to measure the colour and intensity of LEDs, has been introduced by EVT Eye Vision Technology. Utilising EyeVision image processing software, the EyeSens Multi Color Inspect (MCI) carries out various inspections at the same time and presents the results as values or as a Good/Bad signals.

Approximately 100 pixels per measurement point are used for determining the exact colour mixture. The energy spectrum of the system allows an inspection of the colour values, intensity and function of up to 100 measuring points. This also means that up to 100 fibres can be connected to one controller, offering a competitive price point. The EyeSens MCI can configure each measurement point individually for true colour RGB-I values and measure them simultaneously within 1s.

The system carries out 10 measurements per second as standard or 30 measurements per second on request. By using a RS232 or Ethernet interface, according to the TCP/IP protocol, the data can be forwarded to a superordinate inspection- or calculating system.

The EyeSens MCI can also be used for infrared and UV LEDs as well as different color spaces such as RGB, HSI and LALB. Measuring 170x105x100mm, the system is available in resolutions ranging from 1280x1024px to 5MP.

For easy configuration, the EyeSens MCI is equipped with an integrated web server. The system is also optionally available with WLAN, enabling tablet and smart phone connections.

By default, the parameters of the system are assigned via a remote interface within the EyeVision software. However, the inspection system is available with an interface for monitor and keyboard.
