XLamp CMT LED arrays from Cree are in stock at Mouser Electronics. These high-current LEDs deliver up to 45% more lumen density and up to 17%.  The LED arrays feature an innovative metal substrate technology that delivers higher reliability than other LEDs that also use metal chip-on-board (COB) packaging.

They can be mounted directly to the heat sink without a separate circuit board, eliminating the need for holders, simplifying the luminaire manufacturing process, and reducing system cost.

Compatibility with the existing ecosystem of holders and optics for the CXA2 (CXB) LED family, enables lighting manufacturers to boost the lumen output of their products with minimal redesign.

The CMT LED family includes ten LEDs with light emitting surface (LES) sizes ranging from 9.8mm to 22mm to address a wide variety of lighting applications, including track, downlight, directional, low- and high-bay, and architectural designs.

Featuring Cree’s EasyWhite bins, the XLamp CMT LED arrays are available in correlated color temperatures (CCTs) of 2700K–6500K with standard color options of 70, 80 and 90 CRI.
