Custom fabricated calcium fluoride, magnesium fluoride, germanium, silicon, zinc selenide, and zinc sulfide optics for transmission out to 20 µm are available from Meller Optics, Inc. Meller IR and Broadband Optics are fabricated to specification from calcium fluoride, magnesium fluoride, germanium, silicon, zinc selenide, and zinc sulfide.
Transmitting at wavelengths out to 20 µm, they are available with or without A/R coatings and can be produced as windows, lenses, and mirrors, in plano-concave, concave, and meniscus configurations, and as prisms.

Supplied in prototype through production quantities, Meller IR and Broad-band Optics can be produced in sizes from 0.25” to 4” O.D. or diagonal, with ±0.005” tolerance and thickness to ±0.002”. These precision optics conform to MIL-PRF-13830. Applications include front surface optics, detector windows, filter substrates, and viewports.

Meller IR and Broadband Optics are priced according to material, configuration, and quantity. Literature and quotations are available upon request.
