High efficiency laser induced damage threshold AR coatings

Material processing lasers used for additive manufacturing, welding, cutting, drilling, engraving and cleaning, are high precision instruments. Typically the laser is delivered out of a laser processing head which focuses the light at a desired focal distance.

This laser processing head typically contains a lens which has been aligned to deliver a beam with the correct beam parameters to generate the required processing quality.

During material processing, splatter and debris can arise which may contact and subsequently damage exposed lenses. LASER COMPONENTS is able to manufacture and supply a range of laser protective windows from materials such as BK7 and UVFS with high efficiency Laser Induced Damage Threshold (LIDT) AR coatings.

LASER COMPONENTS regularly provides laser protective windows of 55mm diameter.
