So how do they work?
Very simply the f.lashes are based on tiny strips of LEDs that are stuck to your eyelids with ordinary lash adhesive, and then connected to a controller in the form of a small wire that you are able to hide easily in your hair or behind your ears.
The technology in the controller is powered through a coin battery CR 2032, which is the same that is found in watches; making it safe, inexpensive and easily found at most stores.
Available in seven colours, the f.lashes light up in various patterns and effects in response to different movements and motions, for example some light up when you jump and some move faster when you tilt or nod.
The f.lashes have been designed to impose little risk of harm as they do not emit any noticeable heat, a very cool touch, and are water-resistant in normal perspirations and weather conditions. Additionally another important feature of the f.lashes is that there is no interference with vision, and they act in a similar way to a head-mounted lamp where the light is emitted outwards, so you barely notice it.
