Everlight Electronics, a leading LED packaging house and LED technology provider, TPV Technology Limited (TPV), the world's largest PC monitor manufacturer and LCD TV ODM company, and Epistar Corporation, the world's largest LED chips provider, today announced the establishment of a new joint venture to develop and produce LED packages and LED light bars for the LED backlight market.

The three parties will share resources and combine their unique expertise - Everlight's long-term LED technology know-how, TPV's display related know-how as one of the world's leading PC monitor and TV manufacturers and Epistar's strong knowledge in LED chip design and manufacturing - to provide state-of-the-art LED components and products especially designed for LED backlighting in TFT LCD backlight applications.

The new company will be located in Fujian Province, China. The joint venture will make the three companies' customer base even more robust and will make meaningful contributions and add much value to the Eco industry.
