This mini optical light source, model5203, features a compact size, easy operation and highly stable output power. It provides wavelengths of 1310nm and 1550nm and uses an FP-LD emitter. The maximum spectral width is 10nm. Paired together with the 5301 mini optical power meter, it forms a small optical loss test kit and provides an excellent solution for fiber optic network field work. Moreover, the light source operates continuously for more than 40 hours using only 3 1.5V alkaline batteries.
