Better support on offer for EVT software users

Users of the EyeVision software can now also use cameras from Allied Vision. The user can rely on the continuing EVT service and support for their applications. For all AVT cameras with the interfaces GigE and USB 3.0 it is now possible to use the EyeVision software. With the KeyMatch and a Manta, Mako or Procilica, easy and complex inspection can be carried out. As easy as plug-and-play the user has access to the whole command set of the EVT software.

With the KeyMatch command a pattern matching can be done, where the camera a previously taught-in pattern recognises in any position and rotation. In case the pattern does not match the software is ringing the alarm bells. Also code reader applications are possible. The software detects bar codes, QR codes as well as DMC even when the codes are not always flawlessly printed, imprinted or embossed.

The Blob (Object Count) command is included in the Standard version of the EyeVision software and is a powerful tool. It counts everything that passes under the AVT camera on a conveyor belt – single objects or also objects, which touch each other. Due to the various filters in the EyeVision software, it is possible to count those objects separately.

To round the commands up there are the colour inspection commands for demanding colour recognition. For example for cosmetics or to separate the green apples from the red apples, or even to differentiate the cables on a cable harness.
