Nisshinbo Micro Devices, an innovator in analogue semiconductor technology with over 65 years of expertise and experience, is proud to announce the release of the NL8902, a high-quality dual audio operational amplifier incorporating advanced “MUSES” audio technology.

It has applied high-quality sound technology to provide an excellent balance of sound quality, characteristics, and price.

Designed for superior audio fidelity, the NL8902 offers exceptional low-noise performance with a voltage noise density of just 10nV/√Hz at 1kHz, and impressively low distortion at 0.0004% at the same frequency. The amplifier achieves a high slew rate of 20V/µs and a gain bandwidth product of 9MHz, ensuring accurate and responsive audio reproduction across various frequencies. With JFET input technology, the NL8902 features an extremely low input bias current of 10pA, making it particularly suitable for sensitive audio applications such as preamplifiers, active filters, line amplifiers, and I/V conversion amplifiers.

Moreover, the NL8902 demonstrates outstanding electromagnetic interference (EMI) immunity, quantified by an EMI rejection ratio (EMIRR) of 82dB at 1.8GHz, ensuring stable performance in electrically noisy environments. It operates within a versatile voltage range from ±4.0V to ±16V, and maintains operation without phase reversal throughout the input voltage range, enhancing its reliability in audio system designs.

The NL8902 is available in two compact and robust packages EMP-8-AN and DFN4035-8-GR, tailored for ease of integration into a wide range of consumer and professional audio equipment, from home and portable audio devices to automotive audio systems.
