REYAX launches UART interface ultra-wideband transceiver module

REYAX Technology, a global IoT solution provider, has announced the launch of their RYUW122, a UART Interface Ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna transceiver module.

The RYUW122 supports IEEE802.15.4-2015 UWB and IEEE802.15.4z (BPRF mode). The module support UWB Channels 5 (6489.6MHz) and 9 (7987.2MHz) that meet worldwide UWB radio regulatory compliance. With the only 16.7×13.0x2.2mm small form factor and integrated antenna design, it is suitable for size sensitive applications and can help reduce the manufacturer’s development cost.

Having a complete firmware integration, the RYUW122 can be controlled easily through the AT command and has a well performance in data encryption or data transmission stability. Enables location of objects to a precision of 10cm, the RYUW122 can quickly be used to implement Real-Time Localization Systems (RTLS). The module is widely used in precise indoor positioning applications, 3D positioning measurement and precise distance measurement.

In addition, for rapid evaluation, REYAX also provides the testing kit “RYUW122_Lite”, which enables designers can easily evaluate the module’s performance. Its dip pin design can help improve design flexibility and reduces time and effort.
