MCUs enable smooth transition from previous designs
Microcontrollers optimised for single motor control applications from Renesas Electronics are now being shipped by Mouser Electronics.
The Renesas Electronics RX13T microcontrollers are equipped with RX Family RXv1 cores operating at 32MHz, a floating-point unit (FPU), an inverter control timer, and a 12-bit analogue-to-digital converter (ADC), the RX13T microcontrollers enable high-efficiency inverter control of brushless DC (BLDC) motors with a device.
Compatibility with existing RX Family devices, make it easy to convert hardware and software from previous designs.
The MCUs integrate features such as a programmable gain amplifier (PGA), comparator, data flash, and high-speed on-chip oscillator (HOCO), which can help reduce board area usage and the BOM components in the design.
Applications for the RX13T microcontrollers include factory equipment such as water discharge, supply pumps, and cooling fans for data sensor servers, as well as cordless, battery-powered household products such as electric power tools and vacuum cleaners.
