Taiwanese storage manufacturer Addlink has launched the P50 USB 3.2 Gen2 portable solid-state drive, targeting gamers, creative professionals, and AI users seeking faster, more compact storage solutions.
The new SSD offers read and write speeds of up to 1,050 MB/s and 850 MB/s, respectively — up to ten times faster than conventional hard drives or USB flash devices. With both USB Type-C and Type-A connectors, the P50 is compatible with a wide range of devices, including PCs, laptops, Android smartphones, and Apple’s iPhone 15 series.
Encased in an aluminium shell, the P50 is designed to resist shocks and vibrations while remaining highly portable. It measures 7.6 cm by 2.1 cm and weighs 12 grams, small enough to fit easily into a pocket or bag.
The drive is available in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities, and comes with a five-year warranty. Addlink said the product’s speed and durability make it well suited to handling 4K video files, large image libraries, and data-intensive AI workloads.
The launch underscores Addlink’s effort to strengthen its position in the growing market for portable SSDs, as users increasingly demand high-speed, on-the-go storage for both professional and personal use.
