Saelig has introduced the Amplicon Impact-P 100A Series of controllers – ultra-small form-factor IoT Edge-ready embedded computers that utilise the advanced Intel Atom x5-E3940 Apollo Lake processor.

With a case construction of carbon fibre composite and aluminium, these units are tough and lightweight, allowing them to be mounted almost anywhere. They are built to withstand shock and vibration in the harshest environments.

The tiny (4.3 x 3.2 x 2.3”) and light (0.9lb) Impact-P 100A offers integrated cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity, free IoT management software, a high-performance Intel Atom processor, and an extremely wide operating temperature range of -40oC to 85oC. Built-in memory can be up to 4GB LPDDR4 and 32GB eMMc, with expansion for one full-length mPCIe and an M.2 E-key. I/O ports include one HDMI, two Intel Gigabit Ethernet, and two USB3.0.

The Impact-P 100A series of controllers can be DINrail mounted and powered by either 12VDC or 24VDC DC on a Phoenix connector. With no fan, they offer totally silent operation. The IoT Edge-ready Impact-P 100A controller, with its 3-year warranty and a 15 year life cycle, can be the basis of a reliable low power embedded control system. It is supplied with free IoT management software.

Amplicon products offer a rugged design combined with the latest technologies, making them ideal for challenging applications such as factory automation, transportation, machine and remote I/O monitoring, equipment control. The Impact-P 100A series is made by Amplicon, Europe’s market-leading manufacturer of industrial computers, and is available from Saelig Company, Inc., Amplicon’s USA technical distributor.
