Phase noise and jitter performance are equally impressive: at 25.0MHz, the XOE range has SSB phase noise of -154dBc/Hz at 100kHz offset and femtosecond phase jitter (300fs typical, 12kHz to 20MHz).
Available in three standard SMD packages – 7 x 5mm, 5 x 3.2mm and 3.2 x 2.5mm – the new XOE oscillators operate from 1.8, 2.5 or 3.3V supply voltage and offer designers an economic solution for tight tolerance and high stability clocks.
Specifications include LVCMOS output logic, output load of 15pF, rise/fall time of 6ns maximum, start-up time 0.6ms typical, 1ms maximum, output symmetry of 50% ±5%, tristate function implemented as standard and ageing of ±2ppm/year maximum for first year. Storage temperature range is -55 to +150°C.
Ideal for use in high precision clock applications, the new XOE oscillators are available on tape and reel and feature maximum process temperature of 260°C for 10s.
