VCO: SMV3727A-LF Operates at 3710-3744 MHz

Z-Communications announced a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model SMV3727A-LF in S-band. The SMV3727A-LF operates at 3710-3744 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-3 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -83 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 142 MHz/V.

The SMV3727A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 2.7 Vdc supply while drawing 10 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -15 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s standard SUB-L package measuring 0.3 in. x 0.3 in. x 0.08 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The SMV3727A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

SMV3727A-LF is well suited for digital radio and fixed wireless applications that require low phase noise performance.
