VCO features a clean spectral signal of -104dBc/Hz

Operating at 6800MHz within a tuning voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5VDC, the CRO6800Z-LF VCO has been introduced by Z-Communications. The device features a remarkably clean spectral signal of -104dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 18MHz/V.

The CRO6800Z-LF is designed to deliver +5dBm of output power into a 50Ω load while operating from a 5VDC supply and typically drawing 69mA of current. Operating across a -40 to +85ºC temperature range, the VCO features a typical fundamental rejection of -35dBc and second harmonic suppression of -40dBc. The device is offered in the company’s VCO-24H package and available in tape and reel packaging.

The CRO6800Z-LF is well suited for satcomms applications that require an extremely low phase noise clock source.
