VCO: CRO1920C-LF Features Low Phase Noise

Z-Communications has announced a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO1920C-LF in L-band. The CRO1920C-LF operates at 1915-1925 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0-5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -119 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 6 MHz/V.

The CRO1920C-LFis designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 8 Vdc supply while drawing 18 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -10º to 75º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -15 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO1920C-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

CRO1920C-LF is well suited for satellite communication and fixed wireless applications that require ultra low phase noise performance.
