Two new 200W PIN diode switches from M/A-COM Technology Solutions are on sale at Richardson RFPD.  The MASW-011040 and MASW-011041 are high power PIN diode switches in common anode configurations, operating from 50 MHz to 1 GHz and featuring low insertion loss and excellent linearity.

The MASW-011040 SP4T switch includes two high-power ports capable of handling up to 200W CW and two low-power ports capable of handling up to 100W CW of incident power at a base plate temperature of +85ºC, while the MASW-011041 SP3T switch includes the two high-power ports and one low-power port.

Both devices are designed for applications requiring higher CW and pulsed power operations, including land mobile radio and MIL-COM applications. They can be operated with positive-only DC supplies, making them suitable for switch-filter and power amplifier control circuits.

Key features of the MASW-011040 and MASW-011041 include: Insertion loss: <0.5 dB; isolation: >40 dB; harmonics: <-70 dBc; and a lead-free 9 mm HQFN 20-lead package.
